The Depth of Despair is the second installment of the D&D Encounters Celebration.  This is part 2 of a 4 part, drop-in / drop-out, mini campaign.

Title:  Red Wizards' Gambit: The Depth of Despair

Description:  Under orders from the Red Wizard Delia D’caryn, Thayan mercenaries have kidnapped four Rashemi vremyonni, renowned for crafting powerful magical items. The second vremyonni has been taken to a place of arcane power deep underground. They are forcing him to create a Ring of Mind Shielding, intended to become part of a powerful artifact to help the Red Wizards dominate Faerûn.

Character Level:  4

Starting gold:  NA

Stat Generation:  Standard Array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) or Point Buy (27 points)

Equipment:  Normal starting equipment, plus one common magic item (or select a Potion of Healing instead of the magic item)
